Biography
Anh Selissen is the Chief Information Officer (CIO), at the Texas Department of Transportation. Her leadership has transformed the information technology division into a customer-centric delivery team driving results to achieve the mission of TxDOT. Her ability to build strong partnerships in the organization has made IT a critical asset to drive innovation of the agency. She is responsible for enterprise technology for one of the largest DOTs in the nation. She manages an IT budget of over $500 million. She has over 25 years of leadership in both the public and private sectors. She previously served as Deputy CIO at the Texas Comptroller’s Office, Vice President and CIO at NuStats Inc, a transportation research company, and Director of Enterprise Systems at the University of Texas at Austin. In each of her leadership roles, Anh has built a diverse range of experience working across the organization to deliver IT services to meet the needs of the organization and customer community. She is passionate in providing strong customer service and strives to work with her team to provide strong support and services to the organization and their customers. This has resulted in improved interactions with the end user communities and positive positioning of the organizations. Anh serves on the AASHTO Transportation Technology Committee. She is Past President of the Texas Association of State Systems for Computing and Communications, and IT Chair of the State Agency Coordinating Council. She also serves on multiple advisory committees for non-profit organizations to give back to the state and community. Anh prides herself on being a dynamic and influential leader. She has won the following awards: State Scoop State Leader of the Year in 2023, SIM IT Executive of the Year Award in 2021. Austin Women in Tech Excellence Award (also sponsored by SIM) in 2019 and 2021 Boss Ladies by the non-profit, Austin Women in Technology.
