Amol Bargaje is Chief Information Officer at Thompson Coburn LLP, which he joined in 2026. Based in Chicago, he oversees technology services across the firm’s nationwide offices, working with firm leadership to advance technology strategy, strengthen security, and support attorneys and business professionals in delivering client service. With more than 20 years of experience in technology and innovation, Amol connects business priorities with practical technology solutions. His experience spans enterprise IT operations, cybersecurity, data strategy, infrastructure modernization, and AI-enabled improvements to how teams work and collaborate. Before joining Thompson Coburn, Amol served as Mayer Brown’s first Global Chief Innovation Officer, a position he assumed in 2021 after joining the firm in 2018 as Global Director of IT Practice & Client Solutions. During his tenure, he helped develop client-facing technologies and co-led embrio, the firm’s global innovation initiative, which received recognition from the National Law Journal for advancing legal services through technology. Earlier in his career, Amol held senior technology and innovation leadership positions at Sullivan & Cromwell and Jenner & Block. His work brings together technology, process improvement, and organizational collaboration to help law firms modernize operations and improve the client experience.
