Katie Heupel is a member of CNA’s Technology Leadership team, where she orchestrates Strategic Projects, including leading CNA's GenAI initiatives and AI Governance committee. Katie brings a wealth of experience in strategic and execution-oriented roles, with over 20 years of experience.Previously, Katie acted as interim Head of Technology for CNA Canada. She has also led Application Development for Underwriting and Operations and led the renegotiation of CNA’s largest technology contracts.Prior to CNA, Katie was a Senior Manager in Accenture’s IT Strategy and Transformation / CIO Advisory Practice. Katie started her career as a programmer, giving her a rich mix of technical and strategic experience.Katie’s academic achievements include an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Illinois State University.
